District Collector Praises Winners of Road Safety Competitions
RSD- Sircilla news: District Collector Garima Agarwal congratulated students who demonstrated exceptional talent in various competitions held as part of the National Road Safety Month celebrations. During the National Road Safety Month observance, organized jointly by the Police Department and the Transport Department, awareness programs and medical camps were conducted across the district from January 1st to January 31st of 2026 year, including free eye check-ups. Additionally, essay writing, quiz, and drawing competitions focusing on traffic rules and road safety measures were organized for students across various educational institutions in the district, wherein several students displayed outstanding talent. On this occasion, District Collector Garima Agarwal felicitated the meritorious students on 18.04.2026 at the District Integrated Offices Complex. She presented them with certificates of appreciation. She also urged the students to help create awareness among their family members and people in their local communities regarding traffic regulations and road safety measures. District Transport Officer Lakshman Kumar, representatives from various schools, and others participated in this event.
