District Police’s best performance in Telangana State 4th Police Sports-Meet
RSD-Sircilla news: The District SP expressed happiness over the district police athlete’s outstanding performance and winning a total of 08 medals (04-Gold, 04-Bronze) in the Telangana State 4th Police Sports Meet held at Cyberabad Commissionerate from February 16 to 21. On this occasion, medals were presented to the winners at the District Police Office on 25.02.2026 and the officers and staff were specially congratulated. He said that sports play a key role in developing mental strength. Winning and losing are natural and the winners should strive to perform better at the national level. He advised those who lost to not get disappointed, correct their mistakes and move forward.
The achievers are:
- In the lawn tennis category, District Armud Reserve Inspector Madhukar won a bronze medal.
- In badminton mixed doubles, D.S.I. Nageswara Rao won a bronze medal.
- In table tennis, A.R.S.I.s Satyanarayana and Anand won bronze medals.
- In kayaking, Armud Reserve Constable Satish won a gold medal in 500 meters single and 500 meters doubles, and 200 meters single.
- In kayaking, Armud Reserve Constable Gangaraju won a gold medal in 500 meters single and 500 meters doubles.
