District SP Mahesh B Gite unveiled the annual report for the year 2025
RSD-Sircilla news: Due to the friendly approach and transparent working style of the Rajanna Sircilla district police, public confidence in the police has increased. As part of visible policing at the village level in the district, the Village Police Officer (VPO) system has been strengthened, and special surveillance has been established for maintaining law and order. A special action plan was formulated to prevent youth from falling prey to drug abuse. Awareness programs were conducted for students on the harmful effects of drugs, and awareness rallies and a 2K run were also organized in the district. In 2025, with women’s safety as the primary objective, the district’s She Teams conducted awareness programs in educational institutions and workplaces, thereby boosting the confidence of women and students. With the aim of extending police services to rural areas of the district, programs like Grievance Day and Message Your SP are being conducted at the District Police Office. Through these programs, victims and complainants are directly contacting police officers for the resolution of their problems. This has resulted in swift justice for the victims and further increased public trust in the police department. In 2025, the Gram Panchayat elections were successfully conducted without any disruption to law and order or any untoward incidents in the district.
