RSD- District news: SERP CEO Divya Devarajan ordered that every poor woman in the district should be a member of a self-help group. A review meeting was held with SERP DPMs, APMs and CCs in the district on 23.10.2025 at the district integrated office complex, with SERP CEO Divya Devarajan and In-charge Collector Garima Agrawal present as the chief guests. On this occasion, the CEO of SERP spoke. She called for moving forward with the goal of sharing the success received as per the SERP pledge with everyone. She clarified that the state government’s goal under Indira Mahila Shakti is to take poor women to higher positions economically. She suggested that poor women in every village should be included in women’s self-help groups and that they should be supported to grow financially by providing loans from banks. She ordered that SHGs should have buildings in every village,that all members should complete literacy, and that associations for elderly women, disabled people, and teenage girls should be established. She ordered that a petrol bunk, a solar power unit, and an RTC bus should be provided to the mandal under the district federation and be moved forward as per the plan. She called for adopting poor pregnant women and malnourished children in every village and providing them with nutrition. She ordered that the loans taken by SHGs should be repaid on time. She clarified that this would give the rest of them more opportunities to get loans from banks. She wished that the district should be at the forefront of the state in loan recovery. She called on all the women in the district to at least complete their studies and other bank activities by the upcoming Ugadi. She wished that every poor woman should join self-help groups as a member, that they should grow financially and become educated. Later, In-charge Collector Garima Agrawal spoke and explained that 150 grain purchase centers have been allocated to women’s groups in the district, that a total of Rs. 10 crore has been given to each of the poor SHG members to build Indiramma houses,  that efforts will be made to construct VO buildings, and that petrol bunks and solar power units will be completed. Additional Collector Revenue Gaddam Nagesh, DRDO Seshadri Additional DRDO Srinivas, District Federation President Bhagya and others participated in the program.
