Fines for not giving garbage to municipal garbage collection vehicles
RSD-Sircilla news: It has been observed that in the Pedda Bazar areas within the limits of the Sircilla Municipality, certain merchants and residents are failing to hand over their daily waste to the municipal garbage collection vehicles instead, they are dumping it onto the roads during the night hours. As these actions not only undermine the cleanliness of the town but also pose a threat to public health, the individuals responsible were identified, and strict measures were initiated against them. Fines exceeding Rs. 5,000/- were imposed on each of the shop owners found dumping waste on the roads. Sanitary Inspector Kiran, along with municipal personnel and other staff members, participated in this special enforcement drive. Merchants and residents are hereby informed that similar drives will continue to be conducted in the future therefore, they are urged to hand over their waste exclusively to the municipal garbage collection vehicles during the designated timings. The Municipality appeals to everyone to cooperate in maintaining the cleanliness of the town.
