Free Health Camp Organized by Helping Hearts Welfare Society

RSD- Sircilla news: A free health camp was organized on 26.04.2026 in Rajiv Nagar, Rajanna Sircilla District, under the aegis of the voluntary organization ‘Helping Hearts Welfare Society,’ and courtesy of Shivani Hospitals, Sircilla. During this medical camp, medical services were provided by Dr. Karthikeyan (MD, Pulmonologist), Dr. Shivaramakrishna (Dental Specialist), and K. Punnamchander (Psychologist). A large number of local residents participated in the camp, underwent medical examinations, and availed themselves of the free medical services. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Karthikeyan, a specialist in chest and lung diseases, stated that respiratory-related ailments are on the rise in current times due to changing lifestyles, pollution, smoking, and unhealthy habits. He advised people not to ignore symptoms such as difficulty breathing, coughing, and fatigue, but to consult a doctor immediately. He further noted that serious diseases can be detected early and prevented by undergoing regular health check-ups. Dental specialist Dr. Shivaramakrishna emphasized that dental health is equally crucial for overall physical well-being. He advised maintaining dental hygiene and urged both children and adults to cultivate greater awareness regarding dental care. Renowned psychologist K. Punnamchander remarked that, alongside physical health, it is equally essential to safeguard one’s mental health. It was noted that in contemporary society, mental health issues are on the rise due to stress, anxiety, insomnia, family problems, and various addictions; consequently, it was suggested that individuals facing such circumstances should avail themselves of counseling and mental health services. It was emphasized that both physical and mental well-being are essential for building a healthy society. During the camp, medical screenings were conducted for the public to check for blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory issues, and dental problems; free medicines were distributed to those in need. Medical experts offered health advice to the attendees and raised awareness regarding topics such as maintaining a healthy diet, engaging in regular exercise, and abstaining from harmful habits. Speaking on the occasion, Aluvala Eshwar, President of ‘Helping Hearts,’ stated that they would continue to organize such free health camps regularly to ensure that healthcare services remain accessible to the public. Ward Councilor Mamidala Mahesh urged the public to make the best use of such camps and to pay greater attention to safeguarding their health. The event was attended by Aluvala Eshwar (President of the ‘Helping Hearts Welfare Society’ NGO), Psychologist Punnamchander, Ward Councilor Mamidala Mahesh, Elagonda Anjaneyulu, Anthadpula Ramu, Srinivas, Gadde Prakash, medical staff, and others. Local residents appreciated the initiative and requested that such community service programs be organized frequently.
