Free health camps under the Police Department

RSD- Gambhiraopet news: On 23.12.2024, the free mega medical camp organized by the police department in Lingannapet (Erreshelaka Thanda) of Gambhiraopet mandal was inaugurated by District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that this medical camp was organized with the aim of providing prompt medical services to the people living in areas far from the district center, keeping in mind the well-being of the people. A team of expert doctors, including ophthalmologists, dentists, gynecologists, neurologists, general physicians, general surgeons, orthopedics, pediatric specialists, and pulmonary specialists, conducted medical examinations and then provided treatment. After the health examinations, arrangements are being made to shift those in need to a bigger hospital for better treatment. He said that various programs are being conducted as part of community policing to bring police services closer to the people and to create a belief that the police is there for public safety. In the past, sports kits and health camps were organized for the youth of various villages in Veernapally and Rudrangi mandals. He said that compared to the past, many facilities have improved and all parents should educate their children well and make good use of the facilities introduced by the government. He said that it is the responsibility of parents to ensure that the youth does not turn to bad paths, and counseling was conducted by medical experts to provide details of those addicted to marijuana. The District SP congratulated the people who participated in the free medical camp organized under the police department and participated in large numbers and underwent health tests. The District SP expressed special gratitude to the medical team of Yellareddypet Ashwini Hospital, who came as soon as they were called for the free mega medical camp.
