Funds sanctioned for boating facilities in Vemulawada temple tank

RSD- Vemulawada news: The state government has taken a crucial decision to establish boating facilities in the temple tank of Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada, Rajanna Sircilla district. Accordingly, the state government has issued orders sanctioning Rs. 1.40 crore. With the aim of providing a more pleasant experience for devotees and tourists visiting Vemulawada.Government Whip Adi Srinivas had repeatedly requested the government on this matter for some time. He also specifically mentioned this issue in the recent Assembly sessions, appealing for the establishment of boating facilities in the temple tank. Similarly, the Rajanna Sircilla District Collector also sent proposals to the government regarding the establishment of boating facilities in the temple tank. Two days ago, State Government Whip Adi Srinivas again specifically raised this issue in the Assembly, requesting the establishment of boating facilities in the temple tank. Minister Jupally Krishna Rao responded positively to these proposals and promised that boating facilities would be established soon. In accordance with that promise, on 06.01.2026 (Go.Rt.No. 10, Dated 07/01/2026), State Government Special Secretary Jayesh Ranjan issued official orders sanctioning Rs. 1.40 crore for the establishment of boating facilities in the temple tank. With this decision, the people of Vemulawada town and the devotees visiting the temple are expressing their happiness. They believe that the introduction of boating will not only increase the tourist attraction but also improve local employment opportunities. While the development and expansion of the Rajanna temple are progressing rapidly in Vemulawada town with an investment of ₹150 crore, and road widening works are underway with ₹47 crore, the government’s sanctioning of ₹1.40 crore for the boating facility has led the towns people to express their joy, believing that Vemulawada will develop into a major tourist center. Meanwhile, Government Whip Adi Srinivas expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for sanctioning the ₹1.40 crore funds within two days of the request made in the Assembly for the establishment of boating facilities in the Rajanna temple’s pond. The Whip stated that the government will always support the development of Vemulawada.
