Kabrastan land illegal encroachment

RSD- Sircilla news: Former Bharatiya Janata Party Town President Nagula Srinivas on 13.10.2025 met the District Collector and the District SP to discuss the land allotted for the graveyard (Kabrastan) at Ambedkar Chaurasta for Muslims. In this land allotted for the graveyard, a Gusul Khana (Ibadat Khana) was constructed under the previous government. It was constructed only for the Muslims to use for their funerals in accordance with their traditional practices. But some Muslims were constructing a mosque on the Gusul Khana without any permission with the malicious intention of occupying the Gusul Khana. In the past, a complaint was filed with the Collector. On the basis of such a complaint, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha ordered to stop such construction, but now again the Masjid Committee group is trying to start a Jamaat there. In the vicinity of Atti Khabrastan, there is a government junior college, a government high school, a government hospital, a library and three junior courts. Similarly, there is an ancient temple of Sri Anjaneya Swamy. If the Jamaat starts here, the noise from the loudspeaker will become a nuisance to everyone and there will be chances of communal unrest. Therefore, we request that legal action be taken against the illegal construction of the Masjid building here without any permission and legal action be taken against the people who are constructing the Masjid building. And, in the construction sector of Sircilla town, due to the non-provision of sand for local needs, there is a situation where construction workers are unemployed or starving. Similarly, the state government has allotted houses to the poor under the name Indiramma House (under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme) and has given permission to demolish their old houses and build new houses. They demolished old houses and did not provide them with the sand allotted for the construction of new houses, so the construction of all houses has stopped. Therefore, the poor people are in a helpless situation. Therefore, you have decided to provide sand for the needs of Sircilla town, Indiramma’s houses and other building constructions from the local Maneru Vagu at a rate of ₹ 1500/- per tractor for the construction of Indiramma’s house and ₹ 2,000/- per tractor for building constructions. Former Municipal Chairman Aadepu Ravinder, former Town Chief Secretary Siraswal Kailash, Enaganti Naresh, Gudla Vishnu, Kodam Ravi, Sunkoju Ramesh Chari, Dasari Venkatesh, Gajula Sadanandam, Dudam Sivaprasad, Tatipamula Satyam, Erram Vijayaramaraju and others participated in this program.
