RSD- Sircilla news: The district SP Akhil Mahajan warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who sell and use Chinese manjas which was banned by the government in the district. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that, as the Sankranti festival approaches, kite sellers are selling Chinese manjas. These Chinese manjas, made of nylon and synthetic threads, are dangerous to humans as well as flying birds and are a disaster for the environment. As per the orders of the National Green Tribunal, special attention has been paid to the sale and use of Chinese manja in the district. Also, appropriate steps are being taken to prevent the sale of Chinese manjas in all areas of the district, and mainly the people should stay away from the use of Chinese manjas and fly kites with ordinary threads that do not harm anyone. The district SP also advised the public to call the 100 number to report anyone selling or using Chinese marijuana.
