Man harassed a young woman, arrested and remanded
RSD-Sircilla news: Speaking on this occasion, the Sircilla DSP Nagendrachari said that, a young woman was introduced to a man named Singarapu Ganesh from Rudrangi, talked to her, said he loved her and was harassing her to marry him. The young woman filed a complaint at the Sircilla town police station, a case was registered and Ganesh was arrested and remanded on 08.04.2026. The DSP warned that strict action will be taken against those involved in behaving indecently towards girls, pursuing them in the name of love and marriage, and threatening to post photos of them on social media by morphing them, and if necessary, a rowdy sheet will be opened. He said that young women who have been harassed should feel free to file complaints and that their details will be kept confidential.
