RSD- Sircilla news: M. Sagar, Assistant Director of Handloom Textile Department, called for a mental development conference at the Weavers’ Mano Vikasa Conference. On 03.01.2025, a mental development conference was organized by renowned psychologist K. Punnamchander at the Karmika Kshetra in Ganesh Nagar under the Mind Care and Counseling Center. Rajannasiricilla Handloom and Textile Department Assistant Director Mittakola Sagar attended and spoke as the chief guest of the program. He hoped that the workers should take advantage of the schemes provided by the government and come into development. He said that the government has introduced a scheme of two sarees per year with the aim of distributing sarees to all the Dwakra women in the state very soon. He said that the government will soon provide such orders to the Siricilla textile industry. He said that it is moving forward with the aim of providing a handful of work to the workers. With the aim of bringing the textile industry into development, he reminded that the yarn depot was given by the government. He said that the power subsidy will be continued as part of solving the problems faced by the textile industry. He said that the government has introduced schemes like Thrift, Netanna Bheema, Yarn Subsidy with the aim of the workers development. He urged every worker to join such schemes. He said that mental problems should not be neglected and should be resolved immediately. He said that the government has set up the Mind Care and Counseling Center for the welfare of the workers. He told the workers if they face any mental problem, they should not lose courage and consult the psychologist at the Mind Care Center to resolve it. Psychologist K. Punnamchander, textile industry owners Bandari Ashok, Manche Mallaiah, Bandari Venugopal, Mind Care Center staff Vemula Annapurna, Bura Srimati, Rapelli Latha, Konda Uma, and workers participated in this program.
