No elections for panchayats, No funds for development

RSD- Hyderabad news: Even after a year and a half since the Congress came to power, there are no elections for local bodies. BRS Working President KTR criticized the lack of funds for development. On the occasion of National Panchayat Raj Day, he recalled the ‘Palle Pragathi’ under the BRS regime on 24.04.2025 as an ex-veda. He said that the Panchayat Raj system has been completely weakened due to the sin of trusting Delhi parties. He said that due to the lack of local governance, the 15th Finance Commission funds to be given by the Center are not being sanctioned. He said that due to this, people are suffering due to the lack of basic facilities in the villages. KTR said that the panchayat staff are not getting salaries and the employment-guaranteed laborers are not getting working days. KTR warned that the people will teach a fitting lesson to the BJP, which is in power at the Center and is committing grave injustice, and to the Congress, which has pushed green villages into crisis.
