RSD- Sircilla news: Rajanna Siricilla District President Mallarapu Purushottam has demanded that agitation will continue until the benefits of the employees and teachers are received by the government from 2024 March to till date. Under the Rewa Rajanna Siricilla District, the district’s retired teachers staged a protest program in front of the Rajanna Siricilla District Collector’s office on 17.10.2025 and later handed over a memorandum to District Collector AO Ram Reddy. Rajanna Siricilla District Rewa President said that the employees have not received their dues of GPF, GIS, final leave encashment, gratuity, etc., after 18 months. He informed that the benefits due after retirement are not coming immediately and they are facing various difficulties. He informed that there are people in the state who have got their daughters married and got into debt, built houses and died of heart attacks due to mental anguish after not being able to pay the bank instalments. He demanded that the employees who died due to mental anguish after not receiving benefits should be paid ex-gratia and retirement benefits should be provided to them immediately. Therefore, he informed that the government should pay the arrears due to pensioners in a lump sum and if necessary, they will undertake a hunger strike to death program. Prabhakar Kubera Swamy, Rehman, Sadat Ali, Syed Mahbub, Prakash Rao, Govinda Rao, Anjaiah, Gajula Raghavendar and others participated in this program.
