RSD- Dammanpet news: Ponnala Vinila, a class 10 student of Dammanpet Government School, has been selected for the National Children’s Science Congress(NCSC) to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from January 3rd to 6th 2025. Among them, under the guidance of guide teacher Taduri Sampath Kumar, Vinila created an invention called “Ruthu Bandhan”. Girls have to change their pads on time during their periods, otherwise their dresses may get ruined due to excessive bleeding and they may be laughed at in the classroom. This invention called “Ruthu Bandhan”, which is in the form of a watch, notifies the students by giving signals to the watch worn on the wrist, and by flashing a sound or light. It also informs the infants or the elderly who wear diapers to change their diapers on time, thus protecting them from skin diseases. District Education Officer Jaganmohan Reddy, District Science Officer Pamula Devaiah, Principal Venkateswara Rao and the school teaching staff congratulated the student and the guide teacher for selecting this innovation for the national level.
