Sircilla Municipal Chairperson Lays Foundation for Drainage Works in 3rd Ward
RSD_Sircilla Municipal Chairperson Jindam Kala Chakrapani on Monday performed Bhoomi Puja and laid the foundation for development works in the 3rd Ward of Sircilla Municipality.
The works include construction of a main drainage canal and culvert in front of the MLA Camp Office at Vidyanagar. The project has been sanctioned with Rs. 5 lakh from the 15th Finance Commission funds.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson said that due to lack of a proper drainage system, sewage water was stagnating, leading to mosquito breeding and health issues for local residents. To provide a permanent solution, the drainage and culvert works have been taken up.
She stated that Sircilla Municipality is taking up various development works as per public needs and the entire council is working for the comprehensive development of Sircilla. She instructed the concerned contractor to maintain quality standards and complete the works within the stipulated time.
Municipal Commissioner Khader Pasha, Vice Chairman Darla Sandeep, Councilor Darnam Aruna Laxminarayana, BRS Town President Jindam Chakrapani, former Vice Chairman Manche Srinivas, former councilors Myan Ravi, Gentyala Srinivas, former Shiva Sai Baba Temple President Mamidala Krishna, former FACS Director Gadila Suresh, Padmashali Sangam Vice President Gajula Balaiah, and senior leaders Doosa Rajesham, Bandari Shiva, Vemula Harikrishna, Sabbani Narender, Jindam Devadas and others participated in the program.
