State government provides financial assistance to family of missing person in Maneru

RSD-Gambhiraopet news: As per the orders of CM Revanth Reddy, the state government has provided financial assistance to the family of a person who went missing at the Upper Maneru project in Narmala, Gambhiraopet mandal. Compensation cheques have also been distributed to the owners of cattle who died in the flood.Pampukadi Nagayya went missing while crossing Maneru at the Upper Maneru project in Narmala, Gambhiraopet mandal. Officers and staff from five departments are already searching to find his whereabouts. On this occasion, Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha handed over a cheque worth Rs. 5 lakh to Lakshmi, wife of Pampukadi Nagayya on 02.09.2025.Two cattle belonging to Gaddameedi Manemma of Lingannapet village in Gambhiraopet mandal and one cattle belonging to Praveen Goud were lost in the flood. Due to this, compensation cheques worth Rs. 1 lakh to Gaddameedi Manemma and Rs. 50 thousand to Praveen Goud were handed over by the state government through District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha.Market Committee Chairperson Vijaya, Siricilla RDO Venkateswarlu, District Animal Husbandry Officer Ravinder Reddy, Tahsildar, MPDO, local leaders and others participated in the program.
