Stray dogs run amok in Vemulawada, Rajanna Sircilla district

RSD- Vemulawada news: Devotees at the Vemulawada Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple, renowned as Dakshina Kashi, were gripped by fear and panic. A rabid dog went on a rampage in the holy site, attacking everyone it encountered.  Approximately 21 devotees who had come for darshan were seriously injured in the incident.  The devotees, who had come from various parts of the state for Rajanna’s darshan, were near the fairgrounds when the rabid dog suddenly attacked them.  It chased and bit people indiscriminately, causing chaos. All the injured were immediately shifted to the Vemulawada Area Hospital for treatment. Doctors are currently treating them. Residents of the area expressed their distress, stating that stray dogs and rabid dogs are roaming freely in the fairgrounds and surrounding areas.
