Gram Panchayat final voter list, polling station list to be published soon
RSD- District news: District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that the final voter list and polling stations of the gram panchayat will be published on September 2nd 2025. On 29.08.2025, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha held a meeting with representatives of political parties on the list of gram panchayat voter list and polling stations at the conference hall of the Integrated District Collectorate. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that the list of gram panchayat voter list and polling stations will be updated as per the orders of the State Election Commission. He said that the draft voter list with 3,52,134 voters in 2268 wards in 260 gram panchayats in 12 mandals of the district was released on August 28th 2025 and pasted in the gram panchayat offices. He said that a draft voter list has been prepared for each gram panchayat in the district, and representatives of political parties and the public should examine this list and inform if they have any objections by August 30th 2025, and the objections received by August 31st 2025 will be resolved and the final voter list will be published on September 2nd 2025. He said that the MPDO prepared a list of 2268 draft polling stations for the conduct of gram panchayat elections in each mandal on August 28th 2025, and objections on these should be submitted to the MPDO office by August 30th 2025. He said that the final list of polling stations will be prepared on September 2nd 2025. The Collector said that one polling station is being set up for every 600 voters and that if any additional polling station is required in the district, the details will be examined and action will be taken if provided. District Panchayat Officer Sharipuddin, Divisional Panchayat Officer Naresh, representatives of various political parties, concerned officials, and others participated in this meeting.
