RSD- Sircilla news: The District SP Mahesh B. Gite IPS advised the public to celebrate the New Year with their families amidst joy and enthusiasm, ensuring that no untoward incidents occur. He stated that extensive drunk and drive checks and vehicle inspections will be conducted in urban and rural areas on December 31st 2025. He warned that any program organized for the New Year must obtain prior permission from the police, and that setting up DJs or high-volume sound systems in violation of the rules and causing inconvenience to the public will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Police Instructions:

● Strict action will be taken against those who disturb the public by using firecrackers and microphones on December 31st 2025.

● DJs are completely banned across the district on December 31st 2025. If used in violation of the rules, the DJs will be seized and cases will be registered.

● Driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, creating noise pollution by removing vehicle silencers, and triple riding will result in cases being filed and imprisonment.

● Throwing stones at houses, private properties, and streetlights, damaging property, harassing women, or behaving indecently will result in strict action as per the law.

● Selling or consuming prohibited drugs and narcotics like marijuana during New Year celebrations will result in strict action as per the law.

● Cases will be registered against those consuming alcohol in public places and government premises.

● If minors are caught driving vehicles, cases will be registered against those who provided them with the vehicles. If an accident occurs due to them, action will also be taken against their guardians.

The public is requested to immediately inform Dial 100 about any violations of the above rules. The police will respond immediately and take strict action. The public and youth are urged to celebrate the New Year peacefully and joyfully with their families.
