Negligent Response by Sircilla Civil Hospital Superintendent in Snakebite Case ?
TRP Demands Immediate Removal
RSD_Rajanna Sircilla: Telangana Rajyadhikara Party (TRP) District President Dandu Vinod has alleged that Sircilla Civil Hospital Superintendent Praveen Kumar gave a negligent response regarding treatment for a woman who suffered a snakebite.
Yesterday evening, a woman was bitten by a snake and her family was getting her treated at a private hospital. Due to poor financial condition, they called Superintendent Praveen Kumar to inquire whether further treatment is available at the government hospital.
When asked if doctors for snakebite treatment were available on Sunday, the Superintendent reportedly replied, “Why are you calling me?”
If this is the response given to a district party president, one can understand the plight of common poor and middle-class people at the hospital, Vinod said. He demanded that the government, if it has any concern for the health of the poor, should immediately remove the Superintendent.
TRP leaders Arakala Ramesh, Koduru Srihari, Chettupally Narendar, Lakkapaka Rakesh, Gundeti Chandrashekar and others participated.
