What Happened?
Recently, Blue Coat Constable Prashanth and Home Guard Srinivas Chari showed humanity by providing immediate assistance to a woman who collapsed unconscious due to fits on the first bypass road in Ellareddypet Mandal. For their noble act, District SP Mahesh B. Githe felicitated them with incentives and appreciation certificates at the District Police Office on Monday.
SP’s Response:
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the duties of the police are not limited to maintaining law and order, but also standing by people in trouble and providing immediate help in times of need is their primary responsibility. He advised every police officer and staff to perform their duties with humanity, service attitude and commitment.
He said that staff who remain alert in performing their duties and respond promptly to provide better services to the public will always be encouraged. He suggested that everyone should work responsibly to enhance the prestige of the police department.
