BRS Leaders’ Unique Protest in Ellareddypet – Police Register Case

Ellareddypet:A case has been registered against several BRS leaders for performing ‘Pinda Pradanam’ to the photograph of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Ellareddypet Sub-Inspector N. Ramesh confirmed that a case has been filed against the BRS leaders involved in the act.

Speaking on the occasion, the SI said that prohibitory orders are in force in view of law and order maintenance.

According to the Police Act 1861, from September 1st to 30th, no dharnas, rasta rokos, protests, rallies, public meetings, gatherings or sabhas shall be organized without prior permission from police officials. He also stated that use of DJ sound systems in violation of norms is prohibited.

The SI appealed to the public to cooperate with the police and adhere to the regulations.
