Honey bees attack, 10 people injured
RSD- Konraopet news: In Rajanna Siricilla district, honey bees attacked employment guarantee workers. The workers were seriously injured in this incident. On 04.03.2026 morning, as part of employment work, the Sarvai canal repair work was undertaken in Nizamabad, Konaraopet mandal. About 10 workers were working there when honey bees on a tree attacked them. The workers, who were frightened when the honey bees came on them, ran away from there. They had already been stung by the bees. When fellow workers noticed this, they took the injured to the primary health center in Konaraopet. But there was no medical staff available there. Moreover, it is noteworthy that there was also no government ambulance available. With nothing else to do, the injured were taken to the Siricilla District Hospital in a trolley auto. Sarpanch Singam Srihari, Upasarpanch Lamba Raju and Market Committee Vice Chairman Tallapalli Prabhakar accompanied them. They requested the doctors to ensure that they are provided with better treatment. Meanwhile, doctors are treating those injured in the bee attack. Among them, an elderly woman named Puli Palavva is said to be in critical condition.
