Indiramma House is a symbol of self-respect of poor people

RSD-Kathalapur news: State Government Whip Adi Srinivas said that Indiramma houses are a symbol of self-respect of poor people. On 10.08.2025, State Government Whip Adi Srinivas inspected the Indiramma houses being constructed by the state government in Kalikota and Potaram villages of Kathalapur mandal. He spoke to the beneficiaries and inquired about the details. They said that 7 houses in Kalikota village and 12 houses in Potarao village are under construction and the basement has already been completed and the construction work is going on at a fast pace. He said that the government has decided to construct Indiramma houses with the idea that the poor and homeless people of the state should live with self-respect. He said that the previous government did not construct a single double bedroom house in its ten-year rule. He said that the state government has sanctioned and constructed Indiramma houses for the poor as promised before the elections. He said that 3500 houses will be constructed in each constituency of the state. The beneficiaries said that in the past, Indiramma houses were sanctioned during Indiramma’s time, but in the last ten years, the previous government promised to give a bedroom house and not a single house was built. He said that again, with the support of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the public government and the efforts of Government Whip Adi Srinivas, Indiramma houses have been sanctioned and constructed today. He said that the Indiramma house scheme is like a great boon for the poor and that this scheme undertaken by the government will be very useful for those who do not have a house to stay in. He said that with the construction of Indiramma houses, he feels satisfied that he has his own house. Now, the bill for the basement construction has come to Rs. 1 lakh. He thanked the government for providing us this opportunity.
