Mega Blood Donation Camp on Police Martyrs Remembrance Week
RSD- Sircilla news: As part of Police Martyrs Remembrance Week (Flag Day) on 26.10.2024 at Padmanayaka Function Hall in Sircilla town under the Police Department, District Collector, SP attended the blood donation camp organized with the cooperation of Sircilla, Karimnagar, Mancheryala, Warangal Red Cross Society as the chief guest and lit the torch and started the program. Special response to the blood donation camp was that approximately 650 police officers, staff and youth participated and donated blood, and the district collector, SP, congratulated each donor by giving certificates of appreciation. On this occasion, the Collector said that Martyrs have sacrificed their lives for the society, for the country and for the better future of tomorrow’s generations, their sacrifices shouldt be valued. He said that today all the people are peaceful and calm as a result of the sacrifice of the martyrs. He said that donating blood is a social service program and it is very useful to save the lives that are in danger in difficult situations. Everyone should participate in such social services and donate blood as their help in saving the lives of their fellows.
On this occasion, SP said that a large number of young people came forward and enthusiastically participated in the mega blood donation camp organized as part of Police Martyrs’ Remembrance Week. He said that this society will never forget the policemen who sacrificed their lives in the pursuit of duty and Police Flag Day is organized every year in their memory. He said that it is everyone’s responsibility to remember the heroes of the immortal police force in the hands of anti-social forces. He said that along with regular policing, blood donation camp was organized and around 600 police officers, staff and youth of the district by donating blood helped many thalassemia, sickle cell anemia and dengue patients in the state and it was successful. Vemulawada ASP Seshadrini Reddy, Additional SP Chandraiah, DSP Chandrasekhar Reddy, CIs, RIs and SIs participated in this program.
