Municipal officials demolished municipal vice chairman building cellar

RSD-Sircilla news: Municipal authorities demolished the building cellar belonging to Manche Srinivas, Vice Chairman of Sircilla Municipality of Rajannasircilla District. In Gopal Nagar, the in the vice-chairman building, he illegally put up commercial sheds in the cellar against the rules. Besides, toilets were built illegally against the wall of the neighboring house. The owner of that house along with another local complained to the municipal authorities several times about this matter, but no action was taken. Both of them approached the High Court separately. The  High Court has given orders to take action against the illegal constructions. The municipal officials came down and removed the cellar steps and shutters. The in-charge commissioner said on that as per the orders of the High Court, notices were given to the owner and as no proper reply was received from him, the cellar was demolished for parking as per the law. The complainant responded to the actions taken by the municipal authorities and he alleged that the officials knocked him down for the name sake and the stairs of the building, the stairs on the parking lot, the generator placed on the road and the illegally constructed toilets in the building have not been removed. The officials were warned that if full measures are not taken in another twenty four hours, they will have to approach the court again.
