Savitribai Phule’s birth anniversary celebrations

RSD- Sircilla news: On 03.01.2025, in the celebrations of Mahatma Savitribai Phule’s birth anniversary organized at the Bharat Rashtra Samithi Party District Office Telangana Bhavan, Municipal Council President Jindam Kala Chakrapani, former ZP Chairman Nyalakonda Aruna Raghava Reddy, former TSPTDC Chairman Guduri Praveen, former Chairman of the District Library Organization Akunuri Shankaraiah, BRS Party Sircilla Branch President Jindam Chakrapani, key leaders of the BRS Party and public representatives participated and paid tribute to Mahatma Savitribai Phule. On this occasion, Municipal Council President Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that Mahatma Savitribai Phule believed that women’s economic and social development and the construction of an equal society would be supported by women’s education and in those days, when women could not speak out for education, she worked for women in situations where women could not come out for education. She said that Mahatma Savitribai Phule, the first woman teacher in India, was the light of knowledge and education, who made everyone aware of social issues and made women educated. On the occasion of her birth anniversary, she congratulated all the women teachers who are celebrating Women Teachers’ Day and making students knowledgeable. Today, women in society are showing their talent in various fields as doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers, journalists, and political leaders, and are standing as role models for many, she said, because of the first steps taken by Mahatma Savitribai Phule for the development of women’s education.
