03 years imprisonment for rowdy sheeters
RSD-Sircilla news: As per details, Ancha Ramreddy s/o Hanmanth Reddy R/o of village Aashireddy Palli of Chandurthi mandal has frequent quarrels with Katkuri Swamy s/o Jeevayya, Gangula Srinu s/o Lashmirajam, Chinta Shekhar s/o Devayya who are rowdy sheeters in various cases of the same village in the matter of well panchayat. Swamy, Srinu and Shekhar attacked Ram Reddy with a stick which they took with them with the intention of killing. On the complaint of Ram Reddy’s family members, the then Chandurthi SI Neelam Ravi registered a case and filed a charge sheet in the court. The court constables under the supervision of court monitoring SI Ravinder Naidu, Tirupati, Latif, cms Head Constable Shankaraiah and Constable Madhu have produced 11 witnesses and public prosecutor Vemula Lakshmi Prasad has argued on behalf of the prosecution. District SP said that Sircilla Assistant Sub Court Judge Radhika Jaiswal sentenced three rowdy sheeters to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1000/- each for the attempted murder of a person. SP pointed out that no one who has committed a crime in the society can escape from punishment, only punishment will bring change in the society, the police and the prosecution should conduct a strategic trial and ensure that the punishment is exact. Constable Shankaraiah and Constable Madhu were specially congratulated by the District SP.
