Gajjela Devaraj Unanimously Elected as Chairman of Telangana Movement Activists JAC
RSD_Sircilla: Gajjela Devaraj has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Rajanna Sircilla District Telangana Movement Activists Joint Action Committee (JAC).
The decision was taken at a meeting of various Telangana movement associations held on Sunday at the Sircilla Press Club. Leaders from across the district attended and unanimously approved Devaraj’s name for the post.
Speaking after his election, Devaraj said that his priority will be to fight for the rights and welfare of all Telangana activists.
“We will work for the recognition of every activist who fought for the separate Telangana state. The government must speed up the identification process and implement its manifesto promise of providing 250 square yards of house site and pension to all eligible activists,” he demanded.
He stated that he will continue his struggle until the sacrifices of the movement activists receive due respect and honour, and will work to strengthen the JAC at the district level.
The meeting was attended by Honorary Presidents Bussa Venu, Racharla Venkanna, Karne Lakshmi, Pathipaka Padma, Shankar, Akkenapelly Karunakar, State President of Former Sarpanches Forum Karunakar, Bandi Devadas, Nimm Shetty Vijay, Vengala Srikanth Goud, Madupu Vanaja, Gugulothu Rena and others, who congratulated the newly elected Chairman.
