10 years imprisonment for accused in murder case
RSD- Sircilla news: District SP said that Sircilla Chief Justice Premalatha gave a verdict on 25.09.2024, sentencing one of the two suspects to life imprisonment and a fine of 2500 rupees, while the other was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment and a fine of 2500 rupees. As per details, Rajam s/o Ramulu of Mustabad village was quarreling about the transfer of property to his elder sister Mariamma. Accordingly, on 01-09-2020 Mariamma and her son Mallesham hacked to death with an axe to kill Raja. The then Sircilla Rural CI Sarwar registered a case on this incident and remanded Mariamma and Mallesham and filed a charge sheet in the court. Under the supervision of court monitoring SI Ravindra Naidu, court constables Naveen, Devender, cms constable Narender produced 15 witnesses in the court and public prosecutor Narsinga Rao argued on behalf of the prosecution. The district SP said that the accused mallesham has been sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of 2500 rupees was imposed. SP said on this occasion pointing out that no one who has committed a crime in the society can escape punishment, only punishment will bring change in the society, the police and the prosecution should carry out a strategic trial and justice and ensure that the punishment is exact.
