Agraharam Anjanna devotees to be provided with better facilities

RSD Agraharam news: Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas clarified that they are moving forward with the goal of developing Anjaneyaswamy temple in Agraharam & Sri Raja Rajeswaraswamy temple. The marble flooring work in the premises of Anjaneyaswamy temple in Agraharam, Vemulawada Urban Mandal, was sanctioned with a fund of Rs. 34.50 lakhs and a ceremony was held on 08.07.2025. Government Whip, Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas and Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha were present as the chief guests. The Government Whip spoke on the occasion and said that with the cooperation of State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other ministers, the development work of Rajanna temple has been initiated and development work will be undertaken with a fund of about Rs. 150 crores. He explained that a tender for the work of Rs. 76 crores will be issued in the third week of July 2025. He also said that the road expansion work has also started recently. VTDA Vice Chairman and Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that the work is progressing rapidly with a comprehensive plan. He reminded that the public government has sanctioned funds with the intention of providing facilities in accordance with the increasing number of devotees visiting Rajanna temple. He clarified that the temple will be expanded according to the number of devotees. He said that small traders and businessmen in Vemulawada will get employment with the influx of devotees. He reminded that the ceremony for the construction of the prakaram and paraphernalia was recently held at the Agraharam Anjanna temple. He congratulated the Anjanna temple development work that is progressing due to the initiative of District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha. He assured that efforts will be made to construct a Kalyana Mandapam in the Anjanna temple premises. He said that this will be useful for the auspicious programs of the poor of all sections and they will not face any financial difficulties. He said that the government is considering building a function hall in every mandal of the constituency district. He revealed that Rs. 10 lakhs will be allocated for each function hall from the SDF funds and their construction will be completed with the remaining funds. He hoped to continue the spiritual tradition of the country. He reminded that recently in Vemulawada, examinations were conducted for Vedic students in four subjects for four days. He said that 160 Vedic students from various parts of the country attended these exams. He said that in the past these exams were held at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He said that the fame of Rajanna temple is spreading all over the country. He said that we will move forward together for the development of Vemulawada Rajanna temple and Agraharam Anjanna temple. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that development work is being carried out in the Anjanna temple in Agraharam as per the instructions of Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas. He instructed the engineering officials to complete the marble flooring work within 15 days. The Collector clarified that facilities will be provided in the temple according to the number of devotees.
