RSD-Sircilla news: The CI is speaking on this and said that the government should make clothes only from the workers of the Mutual Valli Add Cooperative Society in Sircilla with the intention of providing work and support to the weavers in Sircilla and the government should purchase them as per the rules. As part of this, the key members of the Jagruti Mac Society in Sircilla, Aagu Kondabattini Mallesham (President), Bollabathi Lakshminarayana (Vice President), Katla Srinivas (Secretary), Chintakindi Satyam (Director) and Boddu Gopal (Directors), JB Nagar Sircilla, are deceiving the government and the weavers and making high profits. They are buying clothes from outside and selling them to the government without appointing the weavers. As part of this, they brought the clothes to the Agriculture Market Committee Indiranagar Sircilla godown, but the technical officers of the Textile Department put them aside. A.D. in the Textile Power Department as per the orders of the higher authorities while working, Ashok Rao inspected and seized goods worth approximately Rs. 13 lakh on 29.05.2017. Jagruti Max Society members Kondabattini Mallesham, Bolabattini Lakshminarayana, Katla Srinivas, Chintakindi Satyam and Boddu Gopal cheated the government and the weavers with the intention of getting high profits. Ashok Rao filed a complaint against them at the Sircilla Police Station. The then SI Machineni Ravi registered a case and after investigation, the investigating officer Sekhar filed a charge sheet in the court. CMS under the leadership of RSI Shravan, Court Constable Vemula Naresh presented ten witnesses in the court. Public Prosecutor Chalumula Sandeep argued for the prosecution. Judge Praveen, who examined the background of the case, found the culprits Kondabattini Mallesham. Sircilla Town CI Krishna said that Bolabattini Lakshminarayana, Katla Srinivas, Chintakindi Satyam and Boddu Gopal have been sentenced to three years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5,000 each (a total of Rs 25,000) was imposed by Sircilla First Class Judge Praveen who announced the verdict on 04.08.2025.
