RSD-Chandrampet news: According to the details, a man named Gopi, a resident of Chandrampeta village in Siricilla town, works as a photographer.  Konda Ranjith, a resident of Shivanagar, rented a Canon camera from Gopi to take pictures for his son’s birthday and later returned it. On the evening of October 15, 2020, Konda Ranjith came to Gopi and asked for money, saying he was in urgent need. When Gopi said he didn’t have any money at the moment, Ranjith did not leave. Gopi went inside his house for some work and when he returned after 15 minutes, he found that his Canon camera, which was in the front room, was missing. Gopi stated that his camera was worth approximately Rs. 38,000. He filed a complaint in Siricilla town, and the then SI Sudhakar registered a case, arrested Konda Ranjith, and remanded him to custody. Subsequently, SI Sudhakar filed the charge sheet in court. Later, under the supervision of CMS SI Shravan, court constable Vemula Naresh presented six witnesses in court. Public Prosecutor Chelamala Sandeep argued on behalf of the prosecution, and after examining the case details, Siricilla First Class Magistrate Praveen sentenced the accused, Konda Ranjith, to three years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of three thousand rupees on 27.01.2026 as informed by Siricilla Town CI Krishna.
