If You Neglect Hindu Festivals, We Won’t Keep Quiet: Bandi Sanjay Warns CM Revanth Reddy
RSD_SIRCILLA: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar addressed the media at Sircilla district headquarters today and made sharp remarks against the state government.
Speaking on the Ganesh immersion festivities, the Union Minister said that canals and tanks across the state have dried up and there is no water in canals under the SRSP ayacut. He said the matter has already been brought to the notice of the state government and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy should immediately intervene and release water into the canals.
He warned that if Hindu festivals are taken lightly, it will not be tolerated. “If water is not released into canals, devotees will be forced to keep Ganesh idols on the roads, which may lead to law and order problems. A review should be conducted at the CM level before the situation goes out of hand,” he said.
He appealed to people to participate in the immersion festivities in a devotional atmosphere without believing false propaganda and to cooperate with officials. He said after Maharashtra, Ganesh immersion is celebrated most grandly in Telangana.
Launching a scathing attack on Congress and BRS over land encroachment allegations, Bandi Sanjay said no one has the right to enter private lands. He questioned the Congress government, saying if it has all the evidence of Rs 1 lakh crore land loot by BRS, does it not have the guts to take action.
“It took three years to conclude the land loot? If a person at the level of CM wants, all evidence can be exposed in 3 hours. There is a secret understanding between Congress and BRS. Revanth Reddy and KTR are friends. That is why they are doing time-pass politics on land loot,” he alleged.
He further alleged that the CM is using the land loot issue to bargain and pay EMI to the AICC.
Questioning the claim that BRS had encroached 8,000 acres in Sircilla, he asked the government to show evidence. “If you show evidence, we ourselves will protect those lands and distribute them to the poor,” he said.
Bandi Sanjay alleged that Congress and BRS are playing cheap politics to divert public attention from the failure to implement 6 guarantees and development, and are enacting political dramas in the Assembly. He said there is complete anti-incumbency against the Congress party among the people in Sircilla.
