Foundation Stone Laid for Rs. 28.50 Lakh Development Works at Pothugal Market Committee

RSD_Mustabad: The foundation stone for various development works worth Rs. 28.50 lakh was laid at the Pothugal Agricultural Market Committee office in Mustabad mandal headquarters on Friday.

Market Committee Chairperson Thalari Rani Narsimlu laid the foundation stone along with the governing body members and public representatives. The works will be taken up with the Market Committee funds in villages under the mandal.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson Thalari Rani Narsimlu said that during her two-year tenure, she had been accessible to farmers and ensured no difficulties in the purchase and sale of agricultural produce. She said the Congress government is committed to farmers’ welfare and is undertaking several development programs. With the cooperation of farmers, the Market Committee is working in the forefront in all sectors, she added.
