Accused in 2 theft cases sentenced 03 years prison

RSD-Sircilla news: According to the details, on 21-01-2017, a house in Peddur village of Sircilla mandal was robbed of gold. On 07-07-2017, at 10 am, victim opened the safe and found all the belongings and company bills scattered around. Looking back, they suspected that the door handle was broken. When they opened the cash counter, they found 18 silver coins and 6 one-gram gold coins worth Rs. 7,000 in total were missing. A person named Maddi Srinivas complained to the Sircilla police station. After the then ASI Ramachandram registered a case, the investigating officer S.I. Sekhar investigated and arrested the thief, Gotte Anjaiah’s father Sitaram, of Venkatapur village, Yellareddypeta mandal sent him to remand. Later, S.I. Sekhar filed a charge sheet in the court. Public Prosecutor Chelimala Sandeep argued on behalf of the prosecution. Court Constable Vemula Naresh, under the leadership of CMS RSI Shravan, presented the witnesses in the court. Judge Praveen, who examined the background of the case, found the accused guilty. The Sircilla First Class Judge Praveen pronounced the verdict on 24.03.2025, imposing a sentence of 03 years in prison and a fine of Rs. 10,000/- in each case on the accused in two theft cases, said Sircilla Town Inspector Krishna.
