Case registered for posts on social media inciting religious hatred

RSD-Vemulawada news: A case has been registered against a person named Noonemunthala Ravinder Goud, s/o Anjaneyulu, age 43y, of Shamirpet, Medchel, Malkajgiri, who is making posts on social media inciting religious hatred regarding the Vemulawada temple, at the Vemulawada town police station and he has been remanded on 23.02.2025, the SP said. The district SP warned on this occasion that special vigil has been kept on those who disrupt peace and security on social media platforms, and that anyone who makes comments that denigrate or provoke a community or a religion, propagates hatred, or posts that hurt the sentiments of others on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp groups, etc. within the district will not be ignored.
