Checks with police dogs to detect intoxicants

RSD- Vemulawada news: Town CI Veeraprasad said that on the orders of District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS, inspections were carried out on 15.07.2024 in bus stands, pawn shops, Kirana shops, etc., in Vemulawada town limits with police officers specially trained in narcotics department to prevent the smuggling of illegal ganja. On this occasion Vemulawada town CI said that vehicle checks will be carried out to catch the people who are destroying the future of the youth and transporting illegal cannabis.  He said that if there is any information that any person within the police station, pawn shops, grocery shops, or any other shops are in possession of or are selling marijuana or intoxicating substances prohibited by the government, people should immediately report to the nearest police station or dial 100.
