District collector surprise visit to government school

RSD-District news:District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that special attention should be paid to the education of students and quality education should be provided. Geetha Nagar Government School in the district center was visited on 20.07.2024.

On this occasion, students of classes 8, 9, 10 were taught English, Mathematics and Physical Sciences. He asked many questions to the students and expressed dissatisfaction with the answers given by them. The principal directed the students to pay special attention to the subjects of mathematics and English. The teachers have been instructed to give special attention to the students of class 10 and to take measures to achieve good results in the examinations and to make the students of class 9 aware of the syllabus of class 10 from now. He said that the midday meal provided to the students and the preparation process should be examined in the store rooms and quality meals should be provided to the students according to the menu. He said that the boys’ toilets and surroundings in the school premises should be inspected by themselves and appropriate measures should be taken to keep them clean from time to time and if there are any minor repairs, they should be completed regularly. Attendance table and general leave registers were examined after asking the details of the teachers of the school. The DEO has issued directions to take action against teachers who are absent without prior notice and leave application. Principal Sharada, teachers and others participated in this program.
