Extension lecture in the English department

RSD-Gambhiraopet news: An extension lecture was organized in the English Department of Government Degree and PG College, Gambhiraopet. Under the guidance of Dr. Yelagonda Anjaneyulu, Assistant Professor of English and In-charge of the Department, and under the chairmanship of Principal Professor V. Vijayalakshmi. Mr. Billa Rajender, Assistant Professor of English from Government Degree College, Metpally, delivered an extension lecture on Introduction to Phonetics. He explained to the students about international phonetic sounds, their importance, their role in communication skills, and how phonetics can help students achieve success in high-level jobs and in different parts of the world. He gave detailed explanations with proper examples. Principal Professor V. Vijayalakshmi said that phonetics plays an important role in our daily speech, behaviour, and opportunities. She advised all students to gain a good command over phonetics to improve their chances of success. Dr. Yelagonda Anjaneyulu said that all students should gain a strong foundation in phonetics from the first year of their degree. He stated that phonetics will become a valuable tool like a weapon or a treasure for achieving top-level jobs and developing extraordinary communication skills. In this program, Dr. Shravan Kumar, Manohar, Jaganatham, teaching and non-teaching staff, and a large number of students participated.
