Indiramma house construction should be completed quickly

RSD-Sircilla news: District Collector conducted a review with the relevant authorities on the progress of the construction of Indiramma houses and said that the speed of the construction of Indiramma houses should be increased and the authorities should monitor so that the Indiramma houses sanctioned in each mandal are grounded. On 01.09.2025, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha conducted a review with the relevant authorities on the progress of the construction of Indiramma houses at the Integrated District Collectorate. The Collector reviewed the details of Indiramma houses sanctioned, marked houses, houses under construction and their progress in the district mandal wise and made several suggestions. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that in Sircilla district, the government has sanctioned 8,811 Indiramma houses, marking of 5,292 houses has been done, construction of 2,921 houses up to the basement level, 146 up to the wall level, 451 houses up to the roof, and 1 house has been completed. The Collector issued orders to take steps to prevent shortage of sand for the construction of Indiramma houses and to control prices through the Mandal Level Price Committee to keep the prices of house construction materials under control. The Collector told the officials to capture the progress of the construction of Indiramma houses from time to time and register it online, to ensure that the beneficiaries receive financial assistance from the government on time, and to be careful not to have any pending cases. The Collector clarified that the government will provide sand free of cost for the construction of Indiramma houses, and that the beneficiaries will only have to pay the labor and transportation charges for carrying the sand, and that if more than 1500 tractors are charged for sand supply anywhere in the district, they should bring it to the attention of the officials. The Collector suggested that the Mandal Special Officers should regularly inspect Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, residential educational institutions, model schools, Anganwadi centers, PHCs and fertilizer shops within their jurisdiction. The Mandal Special Officers should thoroughly inspect the cleanliness of the premises of the educational institutions, whether there is water storage, and the quality of food and drinking water provided to the students.
