Lodge owners must install CCTV cameras in the lodges

RSD- Vemulawada news: On 16.04.2025, 10 teams were formed in the lodges within the limits of Vemulawada town and conducted surprise inspections in 50 lodges. Notices were issued under the Telangana Public Safety Enforcement Act to 04 lodges that did not have CCTV cameras in the lodges. They warned that if the owners of such lodges did not install CCTV cameras within the stipulated time, they will be fined and booked. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that strict action will be taken if anti-social activities are committed in the lodges, the police department will conduct surprise inspections in the lodges from time to time, records should be maintained of those who come to stay in the lodges without fail, and CCTV cameras should be installed in the lodges for security reasons, otherwise legal action will have to be taken said District SP Mahesh B.
