MP Bandi’s initiative to rescue those trapped in flood waters

RSD- Gambhiraopet news: Bandi Sanjay reveals that five people trapped in Narmala flood in Sircilla district were rescued safely by helicopters. It is clear that two more helicopters will be ready in Sircilla for help. Bandi Sanjay thanked Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh for their immediate response.Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar thanked Air Force Commander V.S. Saini and his team.  Government Whip, Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas, District Collector, SP who inspected the arrangements. District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha, SP Mahesh said that those trapped at the Upper Maneru project in Gambhiraopet mandal were evacuated safely. Seven people went to graze cattle on the other side of the Upper Maneru project at Narmala and got stuck there, and the Collector and SP intensified rescue operations. Food was provided to the trapped people. Military helicopters reached Hakimpeta on 28.08.2025 and brought five people safely to their destination. The arrangements were closely monitored by Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas and the district administration
