Fraudster caught for 90 lakh fraud
RSD- Mustabad news: The details were revealed by District SP Mahesh B. Gite that a person named Satyam from Delhi, who is currently studying for CA, removed the locks of the stolen mobile phones from his father’s mobile repair shop and took the locks of such mobiles and new SIM cards and sent them to a person named Mullunti Salim Malik from Bhagyanagar Colony, Jammalamadugu, Kadapa district through courier. The two of them together called the victims saying that they were talking from the health department and said that they would refund the hospital expenses. They called the victims from the stolen mobiles and sent them a link. If you open that link and enter the UPI PIN, the money spent on your Aarogyasri will be credited back to your account like that they said and are committing fraud. As part of this, accused Satyam and Salim Malik called a victim named Dhamma Rajireddy in Mustabad mandal of Rajanna Siricilla district and a victim named Bolgam Prema Kumar in Vemulawada town and said that they would refund the money. However, Rajireddy of Mustabad lost 46 thousand rupees and Prema Kumar lost 10,000 rupees by believing them and entering the UPI PIN. As per Rajireddy’s complaint, Mustabad SI Ganesh registered a case and as part of the investigation, Sircilla Rural CI Mogili, Mustabad SI Ganesh, District Cyber Team RSI Junaid, and staff Gangareddy, Raju, Kittu, Mahesh, Mustabad Constable Kasim formed a team and based on technology, Salim Malik was arrested and remanded, Satyam was taken into custody in Delhi, and it was found that the accused Satyam had committed fraud of about 90 lakhs in 118 complaints on the NCRP portal in Telugu states, and the accused will be remanded on 26.08.2025.Sircilla DSP Chandrasekhar Reddy, Sircilla Rural CI Mogili, Mustabad SI Ganesh, Cyber Team RSI The District SP specially congratulated Junaid, cyber personnel Kittu, Gangareddy, Mahesh, Raju, and Mustabad Constable Kashim.
