Quality nutrition should be provided as per the menu
RSD- Yellareddipet news: Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha has ordered that nutrition should be provided to the students as per the menu. The Collector conducted a surprise inspection of the Mandal Parishad Primary School in Pothireddipalli village of Yellareddipet mandal on 02.09.2025. On this occasion, there were 25 students in the school and another educational volunteer was ordered to be appointed. The Collector observed that only Gongura chutney was being served to the children as part of the mid-day meal. He observed that there was unsanitary surroundings and garbage in many colonies in the village. The Collector ordered that regular sanitation work be done in all the wards of the village and that the area be kept clean. On this occasion, Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha spoke and advised that the mid-day meal organizers to provide quality nutrition to the students according to the menu in every school as per the instructions of the state government. The Collector ordered the Gram Panchayat Secretary to construct a kitchen shed in the school premises. The Collector made a surprise inspection of the Mandal Praja Parishad Primary and Zilla Parishad High Schools in Venkatapur village of Yellareddypet mandal. On this occasion, the attendance details of the students in the school were checked according to the attendance register. The number of students in the digital school, the number of benches, the details of the classrooms and many other issues were asked. Later, the Collector taught math lessons to the students. It was suggested that uniforms should be distributed to students in the Zilla Parishad High School, a computer lab should be made available, green boards should be installed in the classrooms, and food items should be prepared on gas stoves. Yellareddypet Market Committee Chairperson Savera Begum, Sircilla RDO Venkateshwarlu, officials and others participated in the program.
