No need to worry about changing number plates
RSD- Sircilla news: Sircilla District Transport Officer Laxman said in a statement that motorists should not worry about changing vehicle number plates. He clarified that there is no deadline for installing High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) on old vehicles. He said that the campaign that HSRP must be installed by the 30.09.2025, otherwise fines will be imposed under the transport and police departments is not true. He said that the issue of changing vehicle number plates is still under the government’s consideration. He said that no orders have been received from the government in this regard. The DTO advised not to believe false propaganda on social media.
