Police narcotics squads surprise checks in paan shops and lodges
RSD-Sircilla news: Task Force Inspector Natesh said that the task force personnel conducted surprise checks with narcotics squads in paan shops and lodges within Sircilla town limits as per the orders of the District SP. Speaking on the occasion, the CI said that the district police department is working with the aim of eliminating substances like marijuana in the district, and the task force personnel often conduct extensive checks with narcotics squads in lodges, paan shops, grocery shops, bus stands and crowded areas within the district limits. He said that awareness programs will be organized in the district about the effects of narcotics through awareness programs. He warned that strict action will be taken against those transporting, selling and consuming marijuana in the district. He said that if anyone has information about illegal drugs like marijuana, they should immediately dial 100 or report it to the nearest police station. The names of those who provide information will be kept confidential.
