Congress Strengthening Meet in Sircilla: Party Must Be Built From Booth Level, Says Town President Soora Devaraju
RSD_Sircilla: Sircilla Town Congress President Soora Devaraju called upon party workers to strengthen the Congress party from the booth level. He said that ward presidents and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) are crucial for strengthening the party.
A meeting was held on Sunday at the Sircilla District Congress office with ward presidents of 39 wards, town executive committee members, and BLAs.
Speaking on the occasion, Soora Devaraju said that every worker must work hard to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister in the upcoming elections and to bring the Congress back to power in the state. He criticized BRS MLAs for speaking cheaply in the name of a mock assembly, saying their behaviour has not changed even though people are condemning them.
He termed it atrocious that BJP and RSS cadres purified with turmeric water the place where National Congress President and Dalit leader Mallikarjun Kharge held a meeting. He alleged that while Telangana Congress Dalit leaders protested in front of KCR’s farmhouse against this, BRS leaders in Sircilla are insulting Dalits. He called upon all Dalits to teach a lesson to BRS and BJP for insulting Dalits.
He said the ongoing SIR – Voter List Revision is what will decide the future of the upcoming elections. He said the deadline is only till October 7, 2026, and in this short time, every ward president should take responsibility. He instructed them to check whether every voter who received notices has filled the form and to have complete control over every polling booth in their ward to doubly strengthen the Congress in Sircilla.
State General Secretary of SC Cell Akunuri Balaraju, General Secretaries Neeli Ravinder, Neduru Laxman, Vengala Ashok, Vice President Sriramula Venkatesham, Secretary Bairagoni Ramesh, Councillor Kurapati Srisailam, leaders Vengala Lakshmi Narsaiah, Kamsala Mallesham, Malyala Nagaraju, Ward Presidents Adapu Prasad, Kommu Thyagaraju and town Congress committee members and ward presidents participated in the program.
