Imprisonment for 2 accused in 2 different cases
RSD- Sircilla news: District Court sentenced the accused to prison terms and fines in two separate cases. District SP said in a statement that Sircilla First Class Judge Praveen on 05.11.2024 sentenced an accused to three years imprisonment with a fine of Rs.5000/-
1. Accused in theft case three years imprisonment, 5,000/- rupees fine.
RSD-On 11.11.2017, a person named Pudari Raju of Jayanagar, Sircilla ,broke the lock of a house in Ambikanagar and entered the house and stole goods worth Rs.97,000/-. On the complaint of the house owner, a case was registered and Pudari Raju was arrested .After the investigation, the investigating officer Shekhar filed the charge sheet in the court and CMS S. I. Court Constable Vemula Naresh led by Ravinder Naidu presented seven witnesses. Public Prosecutor Chelumula Sandeep argued on behalf of the prosecution while Judge A. Praveen examined the case precedents and sentenced the criminal Pudari Raju to three years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of five thousand rupees.
2. Accused in ganja case one year imprisonment, 5,000/- rupees fine.
According to the information that a person named Ailaveni Suman alias Arjun of Shivnagar, Siricilla town under the jurisdiction of Sircilla Town Police Station is addicted to ganja and he is selling ganja to the needy people. The police took custody and registered a case against Ailaveni Suman alias Arjun and sent him to remand. Court Constable Vemula Naresh, led by Ravinder Naidu, produced nine witnesses. While public prosecutor Chelumula Sandeep argued on behalf of the prosecution, Judge Praveen, who examined the case precedents, sentenced Ailaveni Suman to one year imprisonment and a fine of five thousand rupees. SP said on this occasion that no one who has committed a crime in the society can escape punishment, only punishment will bring change in the society, the police and the prosecution should conduct a strategic trial and justice and ensure that the punishment is exact. District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS specially congratulated team who worked in the above cases.
